How to get it right

  1. 1Prepare the car: clutch down, first gear, find the biting point.
  2. 2Check your interior mirror, then your right door mirror.
  3. 3Look over your right shoulder into the blind spot.
  4. 4Signal right if anyone could benefit from it.
  5. 5Only release the handbrake and move off when the road is clear.
